Heavy Motor Insurance

Heavy Motor Insurance provides specialised protection for heavy mobile machinery, or vehicles with a carrying capacity over five tons. It is available across a range of occupations including general carriers, tippers and building industry and equipment movers. Transport Package is a flexible insurance product designed for businesses with less than 15 commercial motor items to insure.

It combines four insurance products. You can choose to include all four insurance products in the Transport Package or tailor a package to suit your needs – Commercial Motor is the only mandatory inclusion.

Product 1 – Commercial Motor Insurance

Product 2 – Liability Covers public and product liability

Product 3 – Marine Cargo Cover. The policy offers the choice of Carrier’s Goods In Transit (Perils) Cover or a broader Accidental Damage option.

Product 4 – Business Interruption Cover
